Kate Holly Coaching

Kate is a wonderful woman I met shortly after I had started my business! Her website was one of my first bigger designs (from what I can recall, it’s been a while!) and I had so much fun! Kate had already done her logo and brand design, which was great because at the time I didn’t have Grace or Dennice on my team yet! She came to me with all of her images, copy, and brand assets ready to go. She had drafted up a design and was looking for help executing it.

Her website was a really fun one to build! I love when clients have a clear vision that I can help bring to life. I suggested some design modifications along the way, especially on the homepage. The homepage structure was tricky, and I wanted to be sure I was doing my best to match the brand colors to the images as closely as I could. I also wanted to be sure to mix up the homepage with some wider banner images as opposed to all left/right aligned images + text. The testimonials block was actually one of my favorite parts! I love how her deep purple brand color really offsets the bleached lilac. I also adore her newsletter signup being called “Recipes for Self Love”. Kate is the MailChimp queen and her emails are on point so that was super important!

Overall, the site came together beautifully and evolved along the way during the design process. I really enjoyed the challenge of incorporating all of her images and text properly, and using all of those beautiful brand colors without it looking like a color explosion.
