Elven Forest Creations
Elven Forest Creations is a slow fashion, handmade, clothing company in Boulder, Colorado. I was approached by Ashli to create a new website so that they could transition off of Etsy to escape a growing number of concerning corporate policies. Shopify was the best solution for this project in terms of scalability and sustainability.
To date, Elven Forest is the most complex website design we’ve ever tackled. Over thirty hours of custom code went into every aspect of this design to completely tailor it to the brand. Codework includes:

complete restructure of the product pages, including: image sizing, “Next Product” buttons, color swatches (both upload and resizing), height/fit personalization box, share button with custom icons (each icon is coded to the individual platform) messaging button, product accordion tabs. Each edited element was coded for both mobile and desktop functionality.

Ashli and the Elven Forest team now have a platform that they can call their own that is custom made to their brand in every aspect possible.
After the site design and codework was approved and completed, our team’s SEO expert Lance was able to not only optimize the site for organic keyword growth but also to increase the site’s speed. When working in Shopify, Bear Branded is able to offer a service we call Speed Optimization, which involves minifying extraneous CSS to help improve website performance and load speed. Google loves to see this, and boosts a site’s search ranking based on speed. Especially for a site with this much content and for as complicated as the codework was, Elven Forest ranks quite well for speed and is very easy to use in practice!
